As the key locking mechanism of VARCO top drive, the shoot pin assembly is made of high-strength alloy steel and integrated inside the top drive drilling device. The core transmission part includes precision-machined shaft pins, hydraulic drive modules and guide rails to ensure accurate positioning and fast response of the shooting pin action. The shaft pin is treated with a wear-resistant coating to cope with high friction and corrosive media in drilling operations.To adapt to high pressure (up to 70MPa or more) and high temperature (120ºC or more) environments, the ejector pin assembly is equipped with a multi-pass sealing structure. The main seal uses a metal-rubber composite seal ring, supplemented by a redundant seal design to prevent drilling fluid from penetrating into the internal transmission components. The lubrication system uses oil circulation or grease lubrication to reduce the wear of the shaft pin and the slide rail and extend the service life.
